HORSEBACK RIDING THROUGH THE STREETS AGAIN
This year we will meet again with one of the most magical moments of Christmas. the traditional Cavalcades of the Three Kings They walk the streets again. On the night of January 5, towns and cities will shine with the Kings of the East accompanied by a large entourage of pages, floats and troupes of artistic companies. That night, the boys and girls from all over the country look forward to the parades and hope that their Majesties do not forget to stop by their house to check that they have correctly received the letter delivered to the Pages.
Like every year, we received a call in our workshop. Can you imagine who it could be? Yes, it was them: Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar. Listening to your desire for this new cavalcade has made us very excited. They are looking forward to walking the streets of each town and sneaking into our homes to leave them full of gifts and hope. They have told us that this year they want to especially reward all the children who, together with the motto of resistance to COVID: everything will be fine, have been bearers of joy and hope.
In this call, they have announced to us that once again they want their suits to be from Menkes. Do you want to know the details?
King Melchor's costume will be made up of a double layer to protect himself from the cold and snow, wide and comfortable pants to be able to visit all the towns and a royal tunic. You will not miss your royal crown and the belt or sash that complete your style. His favorite tones are cold and neutral, but always bright: blues, whites and silvers.
Gaspar will attach great importance to accessories. Your incense will not be missing, precisely because it is a gift for the baby Jesus. His costume will consist of a belted tunic, an elegant cape and of course the royal crown. You have chosen warm and luminous tones.
Baltasar's suit will stand out for its ethnic colors and motifs, inspired by his African roots. In addition, the accessory that will distinguish him from Melchor and Gaspar is the traditional turban that he wears on his head.
But not only the Kings of the East will prepare for the cavalcade, a colorful procession will accompany them. At Menkes we also make the costumes for the royal pages and their entourage.
Tailor-made suits for Their Majesties
In our craft workshop, any dream can take shape. We have more than 70 years making the costumes of Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar and the entire royal entourage. We bring to life any character that can be imagined so that this parade is not lost, both the costumes and the accessories in wigs and makeup.
In addition, we offer a wide variety of Three Kings and Royal Pages costumes that can be rented.
We keep creating dreams so you never stop believing in them.
